The purpose of the Mathematics Performance Task Bank is to provide the classroom teacher with resources to assist in learning about and implementing performance-based math assessments in the K - 8 classroom.

An Introduction/Tutorial (pdf) is available for download and is highly recommended. Additional resources, information, and tips can be found in the Monthly Math Assessment Tips.

You will need Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® 5 to view and print the files. Acrobat Reader 5 can be downloaded from Acrobat's web site for free, or it can be installed from the CD. Please see the Help page or view the readme.txt file on the CD.
